So Dragon con came and went and boy was it incredible! I saw so many amazing cosplayers, met new friends, and basically just partied for 4 days straight! I wound up wearing 4 costumes too! Just loved it! If I can I will definitely be back next year

So this is the con season slow down for me. I won't be attending anything until March and thats subject to whether or not I will be busy with work. I have decided that I will work on a project or two during that time. I'm thinking of getting started on a Mytho costume from Princess Tutu. This will be after I wrap up my Hei costume. I still need to finish the belt and make the harness he wears under his jacket. I'd really like that costume to be 100% complete. I plan on wearing it again.

I haven't been watching anything new...I just saw Akira for the first time with my fiance Nick. It was great! I don't know what took me so long to see it. Its made me very nostalgic again. I started introducing Nick to Escaflowne and some of the other fun stuff I used to watch. I'm kinda hoping it will hurl me back into the world of drawing again.

I have been sketching more though with mixed results. I'm trying my hand at some more fan art, but haven't gotten the nerve to post any of it yet. I'm hoping that once I've paid of some of this summer vacation debt, I can purchase a new tablet (the old sad one broke). Then I can work in photoshop again, but until that time I'm using my sketch pad, water color pencils and pens. I just want to stay creative.
