So I've been reading "Angelic Days". Its a retelling (yes again) of evangelion. It's all based on one episode where there was an alternate reality that was more appealing to Shinji. In this adaption everything is a lot nicer. I dont want to give to much away but basically they alter everyone's personalities and choices. Its really really good. I am an absolute evangelion nut! In this adaption they also focus more on some minor characters such as toji, hikari, kaoru. They also focus a lot more on Kensuke. If you remember from the show he really really wanted to pilot an eva and he was an actual candidate even though he never knew that. So in this new story he actually does get to pilot it though yet again he barely does anything. I dont expect much more to be done with him even in the new movies, but I wish there was. I really like him for some reason. I dont know I just always felt there was more to him than was explained on the show or rather there was potential for there to be more. As a tribute to him I drew this and I gave him some military themed colors for his suit. I mean he is a pretty big army nut. Anyway..I'm seriously tempted to write a little fan comic about him..god..I'm such a dork. Just from reading those comics I'm starting to get an anime crush on him...poor kensuke
